We presented our acoustic monitoring work at the Australasian Ecoacoustics Symposium at Melbourne Museum.
The Australasian ecoacoustics community meets to compare methods for listening to ecosystems at scale — how to record, detect, and make sense of animal sound in the field. This symposium was held at Melbourne Museum.
We presented how we use acoustics alongside other sensors to monitor threatened species, and where automated detection helps without replacing careful scientific review.
