We attended Acoustics 2025 in Perth, held jointly with the Australasian Chapter of Ecoacoustics, to keep our acoustic monitoring methods grounded in the wider research community.

Acoustics 2025 was held near Perth, jointly with the Australasian Chapter of Ecoacoustics. It is where the acoustics and ecoacoustics communities compare notes on measuring and interpreting sound in the environment.

We went to listen and learn — tracking where acoustic monitoring methods are heading so our own field work stays current.
